9. Seek advice from locals
No one knows the streets well than the locals. They are the best people to seek advice from when lost. Most people tend to be friendly to strangers and are willing to help you. You can get travel advice from vendors or cab guys. Another good idea is to ask the hotel staff for information; they are always willing to help whenever asked to.
