In South Florida, there are a variety of top-of-the-line restaurants for the hungry resident or visiting tourist to enjoy. This is true of all areas in South Florida, and one does not have to look far in order to find a satisfying meal. A popular entree that has recently been the topic of many conversations is the mojito burrito. This burrito is by far one of the most appetizing burritos I have ever tried. The combinations of taste are ingenious and since trying it, I can think of little else. I have introduced all of my friends and associates to this Cuban burrito, and they have whole-heartedly agreed. I have not tasted anything this great in years!
It begins with your choice of meat, be it chicken, pork, or steak. If you’re looking for something lighter you may want to go with chicken. This is what I have been doing, and it’s delicious! Although, a few of my friends have gotten the steak and they highly recommend it. I have also heard great things about the burrito made with pork.
The next step in making the mojito is to choose which type of rice you’d like. There is brown rice and yellow rice, both are to die for. I myself cannot have enough of the yellow rice. I think it compliments the entire burrito. I have tried this burrito with brown rice too though, and this is almost equally as good. These first two steps are essential to the entire structure of the mojito, without them it would not be as classically delicious.
After you choose from these two main ingredients, it only gets better! Your next step is to select from a variety of different veggies. It is often good to start off with lettuce, as it provides a good base for the rest of the mojito. It adds a crucial texture, and it is a serving of greens when you otherwise wouldn’t have had any.
Following the lettuce, you have several more things to choose from. Some of these are excellent tomatoes. Tomatoes bring a softness and completely different taste to the mojito and are my number one choice. If you don’t like tomatoes, it doesn’t matter because there are several more different kinds of peppers and sauces to hold you over!
Something that I often hear reported about the mojito is the amazing addition of one of South Florida’s favorite sauces. This is the chipotle sauce, which I am also a rabid fan of. The chipotle sauce really brings all the ingredients together in a subtle and delicious manner, and the Wrap is perfected.
In my experience of South Florida Cuisine, I have tried what I believe to be some of the best. I really have not tasted one that I didn’t like! Everyone who has tried one says the same thing; you have to try one yourself!
I know firsthand that it is sometimes hard to find a decent place to eat when traveling to other cities. Thankfully, with South Florida, this is not the case. I have family coming in from out of town soon and I am so excited to show them this unique addition our town.
Out of all of the South Florida burritos that I have tried, the Tasty Mojitos stands to be my favorite. Good Breakfast Burritos are truly hard to come by, and it is hard for me to pass up one as good as this one. As a lover of quality food and dining, I am a very happy camper.
