His father’s name is Govardhana Rao and his mother’s name is Madhavi Deverakonda. His Younger brother is a film actor and his father Govardhana Rao has been a TV actor. Vijay spent his early days in Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School in Puttaparthi, Ananthapur District, Andhra Pradesh. He completed schooling and also spent his days learning storytelling, writing, and acting at this place. He later went to Badruka College of Commerce in Hyderabad for further studies.
