Benjamin Geza Affleck well known as Ben Affleck is an American actor and filmmaker born on August 15^th, 1972 in Berkeley, California. He was raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His mother, Chris Anne who is a school teacher, and his father, Timothy Byers Affleck, is a social worker and the two are divorced. Ben is the younger brother of actor Casey Affleck. Their ancestry is of English, Irish, German and Scottish origin. He owns his middle name Geza from a Hungarian family friend who was a holocaust survivor.

Looking forward to his career, he got his first role in a burger commercial in the year 1984 and then appeared in the public broadcasting service’s miniseries. Later he continued to act like a teenager in the TV movie Hands of a stranger and in the second series of Voyage to the Mimi in 1988.
